    Pros

Extremely friendly staff in the agricultural department.
Will provide tools, advice and needed feedback.
Provided me with knowledge and training in ESRI's ARCGis.
    Will provide you with coffee.

    Cons

Because I was part time I can't say anything about benefits.

The director is one of the best people you will ever meet. The program is the most empirically valid method of athletic development in existence.

Some kids are there for the social environment.

    Advice to Management

    Expand the program.

    Pros

Excellent Network of coworkers who will

    Cons

If the state board of higher education has to slash something, everything feels the hurt at a university. This happens all too often in ND. It ties your management's hands to make rough decisions because of fickle funding.

    Advice to Management

Keep communicating state of the university to employees. It's important that they know what is happening at the state level so they know if they will have a job!

I worked at Dickinson State University full-time

    Pros

Good flex time and vacation time. People are pleasant and nice. The campus is well kept and beautiful. Great facilities for athletics.

    Cons

Salaries for the university are well below the cost of living due to the oil in the area. There is virtually no affordable housing and the nearest "city" is over two hours away.
