I have been working at Diebold Nixdorf

    Pros

Benefits including 401k, health, etc. pretty decent.

    Cons

Work load is just too much for the few techs available. No manager help at all, no opportunities to move up. Extremely long hours, constantly on-call, no incentives, no raises.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your best employees because they do leave.

I have been working at Diebold Nixdorf full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Dedicated and hopeful field tech team ; Pacient clients ; Average salary

    Cons

The good job is not recognized by managers. The managers run the branches operations how a private ranch and we don't see any superior supervision. HR is invisible.Very pretty the Town hall but definitelly many gerentials and few people on field.Replaced training center for online presentations.Poor tech and part support.Replace Company retirement plan for 401K and now the employees asume the risk.

    Advice to Management

Move from office to field.Meet the technicians job problems. If the company move to high technology need adecuate tolls and training All positions from retirement plan were freezed but every month the new CEO bring a new patner from HP on board.

I have been working at Diebold Nixdorf full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

They supply a work van, laptop and most of the tools. In the field, there is no one breathing down your back.

    Cons

Low pay for the type of work. Sometimes long hours. There has been some major changes and not sure which are good and which are not. They are abusing the field techs with tasking them with jobs that are not their responsibilities. They want us to be sales, estimators, installers, and whatever else they think we need to do.

    Advice to Management

Take care of you field techs. they are to life blood of the company. Need to have some form of consistency. The customers come first, stop sweating the stupid stuff. Remember who pays the bills.

I worked at Diebold Nixdorf full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

great training good salary and benefits

    Cons

vicious office politics, very bad management, managers don't care about things like insubordination, and promote falsifying or cheating performance metrics just so they look good, even though its bad for the bottom line. They allow and even promote back biting.

    Advice to Management

allow your managers to manage people and not numbers. keep people that do a good job, not just play with the numbers to make themselves look good, changing the equipment in W.A.S. circumventing the system, taking jobs hundreds of miles away when someone is next door, and costing the company thousands.

    Pros

You may work with great people in the field. Company vehicle.

    Cons

Management worries about the P&L so their bonus will look good at the end of the year. HR is a joke. Parts ordered for installation are always wrong. Have to re-engineer every job in front of the customer. Too many lies from management.

    Advice to Management

Stop lying and be honest with the employees.
