I have been working at Diebold Nixdorf full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Good benefits, facilities, and compensation

    Cons

Post-acquisition environment is very stovepiped and segmented. North American executive leadership is out of touch with the organization and it's disparate and disjointed functional areas. Still two companies unable to fully integrate functions and processes.

    Advice to Management

Know what the people do within the organizations you lead. Understand how your business works.

    Cons

Management! People running this company at the manager level are not al all qualified for their positions. Treated like a number and your opinions do not matter.

    Advice to Management

Get people with good experience for what you're hiring for - don't just hire because someone is popular

I have been working at Diebold Nixdorf full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Flexibility to work from home. Nice company vehicle or stipend. Performance Bonuses. Mentoring/Coaching Subordinates. Full immersion in business practices including finances and performance.

    Cons

Extremely long hours including weekends just to keep up with workload. Little appreciation from senior leadership. Conflicting company goals working with other managers. Buckets place for everything that goes wrong (and often does).

    Advice to Management

Spend quality on site time with Customer Service Managers to fully understand the expectations that are not documented in job description instead of "barking" orders and expectations from the top. Provide standardized/real workload reports to include geography for identifying headcount needs. Provide avenue to provide periodic feedback on chain of command. Stop sales from over-promising and "selling the farm".

I worked at Diebold Nixdorf full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Manage own schedule/work from home/ company vehicle/ good benefits. Good balance of work and personal life depends on your manager.

    Cons

Associates are given too many accounts to succeed. Most associates' workload is set up for failure. The responsibilities of this position change annually. Processes and procedures change sometimes without notification.

    Advice to Management

By laying off senior personnel all of the wisdom & experience is going straight to your competitors. Too much time is spent re-inventing every single wheel.
