listen to the associates that actually do the job before you make rules that can change their jobs and make them harder than they need to be.

    Pros

Good structure and nice people to work. Too many travel to do but they compensate with good hotels and per diem

    Cons

Complicated to improve your carrier. Need be a political person you managers and directors. And sometimes they don't promote people and you stay on same position forever

I have been working at Diebold Nixdorf full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Well known company.
    - Passable health coverage.
    - Above average allowance of floating holidays, sick days, vacation days.

    Cons

    - Enormous pay discrepancies. Expect people with your exact job description to be making 5-10K more than you.
    - Performance is not a factor in wage determination. Either your were grandfathered in to a high salary or you're out of luck and will be strung along with 1% merit raises at best.
    - Department hopping is encouraged as it is the only way to get a meaningful raise. Very little growth or reward for mastering your craft.
    - Unstable, high-turnover management.

    Advice to Management

Normalize wages and pay based on role, job performance, and contribution to a successful product. Loose-lipped employees and large pay discrepancies encourages a high turn-over rate which results in a worse product or service for the client.

    Pros

The People here are committed and work hard for our customers. The techs and the field organization carry the company. My team and manager were fantastic to work with but they had little ability to impact true company wide change.

    Cons

Management, internal business processes, focus on profit rather that customers, and employees
The company is dysfunctional, problems with systems, processes, dispatch, installation and the problems are too many to list.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the people, focus on reliable software that works on the units and to run the business.

    Pros

I really enjoy my job. I am not micro-managed, I get to explore new projects I am interested, training is given is asked.

    Cons

Every department tries to make it easier on themselves, not the customer. Very frustrating when you are customer-facing.
