I have been working at Diebold Nixdorf full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The benefits are decent, covers all family members if needed. HQ office is newly remodeled and has in house bank and cafeteria. The vacation allowance is relatively generous.

    Cons

Management is disconnected with employees, poor systems and processes, not customer centric, very short staffed, supply chain is very dysfunctional

    Advice to Management

Management has no idea what employees are going through in the field, told to deal with it or find another job - they really need to listen to employees and address the issues being experienced. Customer service is a struggle with no staff and customers are suffering. Get it together Management!

    Pros

Good emphasis on employee training , established and fair metrics for performance evaluations

    Cons

Too complex of a company due to its large size, hard to get a hold of people even in the same company. Too much pressure on sales to perform and the bottom line.

    Pros

Great company, have a good software vision, company values the employees and take cares of them. compensation level are average but have good career opportunities

    Cons

the recent integration is causing lot of changes and it is still not settled. It is creating confusion in employee's mind on future direction and roadman

    Advice to Management

Organization needs t focus on consolidating road map and streamline workforce.
Employees need clear direction and goal which seems to be coming too slowly and impacting the comparative advantage despite being the market leader

I have been working at Diebold Nixdorf full-time

    Pros

I like many of the people.

    Cons

Strange times. The company is making stupid moves. I feel empathy for management as their hands are tied by corporate to carry out orders and directives that are clearly leading us down the drain.

    Advice to Management

My department is being setup to fail. There is no other way to look at it. In order to show a profit for 2018 Diebold Nixdorf is making moves that I find to be illogical and ultimately failure prone. They make us take ethic classes online then they make decisions that are unethical by nature. Either a company is turning a profit or it is not. Selling off buildings and stabbing departments in the back is not the way towards profits. It's a con. The next few months will tell the story as I wait the hammer to fall. For the most part I've enjoyed working at Diebold but it took a long time to get hired in. I had to leave, come back, leave, come back. As an employee you are constantly training new people, who leave or are let go by the company simply because their "time is up." It's a stupid situation where for every 2 employees we have four times as many temps. You feel as if the company is always setup up to run out, a fly-by-nighter.

I worked at Diebold Nixdorf full-time

    Pros

Opportunity to move up if you work hard.
Decent benefits, lot of available overtime.

    Cons

Lack of leadership at the top.
No sense of teamwork - departments just blame each other for failures.
Company makes promises to customers that they have no intention of delivering.

    Advice to Management

It's an overall toxic work environment. Sales and account managers promise banking customers the world when the company isn't close to equipped to deliver. Upper managements solution to everything is get on a conference call and scream at everyone. They make no investment in having adequate resources. In fact, they consistently lay off people and then restrict overtime to ensure customer demands are not met. The company pats itself on the back for promoting multiple unnecessary executives but walks all over low level employees. It's a mess, which is directly reflected in the continually spiraling stock price.
