    Pros

Good pay and benefits, working conditions were good. They always did things for their employees around the holidays. Gave rewards for good performances. It is more of a service based company now, from what I understand.

    Cons

Phased out all their manufacturing plants in the United States, that is why I am no longer there. Need to take better care of all employees, in reference to cutting put manufacturing. I feel it is harder to control quality when the product is being made out of country.

    Advice to Management

Need to go back to the days before when everyone was happy and did well. Then a crooked team came in and ran it in the ground, along with the then vice president of manufacturing. Hint, oh well. What a shame.

    Pros

There were lots of good people to work for.

    Cons

There were lots of re-orgs going on. That made it hard to know what was going to happen next.

    Pros

Opportunities for learning; friendly, helpful people. Opportunities for working remotely. Good benefits.

    Cons

Constant evolution - can be frustrating and disheartening.

    Advice to Management

Align with each other and tap the power of your people to move forward smartly in a unified direction and effort.

"Please don’t do this to yourself. Sinking ship!"

    StarStarStarStarStar

    Pros

It’s very hard to find any pros. Some people are paid well. I am but many of my peers (that have the exact same job) make $10,000+ less.

    Cons

High level management does not know what the field or direct sales rep actually do. Very poor leadership. Company will more than likely be acquired. Stock prices went from $30+ per share to $14 per share in 12 months. Losing customers to large and small competitors. Market share is shrinking. We are not know as the industry leader any longer. Customer invoicing issue are a nightmare and no one knows how to fix them. Customers are leaving fast. Competitors are taking the good employees and building their business while Diebold Nixdorf continues to fail. They’ve been called a sinking ship and everyone is looking for new jobs. They do not have a training program even though they say they do. They throw you to the wolves and you sink or swim. They more often than not hire and promote from within because outsiders don’t make it longer than 12 months max.

Quotas are unfortunately not retainable but they don’t seem to care if you don’t met your quota. There aren’t any processes in place to help you learn and grow with this company. .

    Advice to Management

Most of the management are looking to leave Diebold Nixdorf as well. And they don’t make it a secret. It’s not their fault the CEO was fired and earning continue to go down every quarter.

I worked at Diebold Nixdorf full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Pays fairly well. Nice location in North Canton OH.

    Cons

Management! When I worked there, the last four years of my employment were horrible! After 13 years in the field as a software engineer, I transferred to the home office for a software management position. At first it was good. Then once I pulled back the covers, I saw the horrible management. No clue how to treat customers and outright deception when selling products. I clashed with my managers and ended up in an untenable position where I had to either lie or leave. I chose to leave and got myself "retired". Since I've left, I see more former Diebold people on LinkedIn than are left in the headquarters since the layoffs and takeover of Wincor. Only the brown-nose people seem to be left now. It's sad since Diebold was a great company to work for in the past. I was happy for 13 years!

    Advice to Management

Modernize! Working from home is something to promote not cut back on. Trust your employees will work honestly at home like I did for so long. Those you don't trust should not be working for you anyway! Get rid of the open work space concept. It never worked and is disruptive to daily business. No privacy and it does not promote collaboration like all the highly paid consultants say it does.

    Pros

Night only place i saw as a good pro about no chiefs.

    Cons

Lot of backstabing and BS, if you can get a job making 2-3 dollars less per hour you would be at least happy and ge to see your family.

    Advice to Management

Cant give advice to management, thats viewed as a threat to their job security
