R&D Management India - doesn't work on realistic timelines, just rushes for launch of product and eventually it misses timeline and quality both and finally need to work again on quality.

Fun, laid back work environment. Plenty of people to help through work tasks. Several events for interns including a trip to Cedar Point. Great pay for the area.

I have been working at Diebold Nixdorf full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Not micro-managed, good benefits package, peaceful work environment.

    Cons

Company only cares about saving and making money, nothing else. They don't care about the employees and have massive layoffs every year. They focus more on sales than on providing great customer service. Field employees are treated like red headed step children compared to the employees at corporate. Not many opportunities for growth here and pay raises are scarce. Employees that aren't laid off eventually leave for better opportunities and for growth. The company hardly replaces individuals that are laid off or that resign, that's another way they save money. This forces remaining employees to have enormous workloads.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on the employees, we are the heart of this company. Also, focus more providing better customer service and not so much on customer acquisition and sales.
