    Pros

Proximity, flexible work environment (if your boss is so inclined), and communication technology to make meetings less painful.

    Cons

They are in a post acquisition phase currently, and are restructuring on an ongoing basis to save costs. Bickering between the acquired company, Wincor Nixdorf, associates and Diebold associates as to process, etc. Feeling of an unstable work environment.

    Advice to Management

Put egos aside and focus on the integration process and investor value, and value of associates.

    Pros

The People here are committed and work hard for our customers. The techs and the field organization carry the company. My team and manager were fantastic to work with but they had little ability to impact true company wide change.

    Cons

Management, internal business processes, focus on profit rather that customers, and employees
The company is dysfunctional, problems with systems, processes, dispatch, installation and the problems are too many to list.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the people, focus on reliable software that works on the units and to run the business.

Challenging work. Great place to start a career. Good technology. Great people.

Focus one the very talented people you have, and make them happy. Develop and follow a long term strategy. Stop the foolish focus on the next quarter results. Develop, train, hire real managers, not just the pupets that can't think for themselves.
