I worked at Diebold Nixdorf full-time

    Pros

Diebold has strong leadership. Vision for our customer is grass roots... Relationship not transactional based. As we transform into a services lead company there are many bridges to build, and opportunities are everywhere at Diebold. The company respects employees all the way down to heavy lifters. Beginning a career or growing a career amongst a team that cares is invaluable. Diebold management listens -

    Cons

Pay and benefits need more attention. Benefits are needing employee focus. Healthcare is a rising cost at the benefits level. Bonus pay is not aligned to individual results but rather company results.

    Advice to Management

Be effective through people and be efficient with assets

    Pros

During my interview process for Diebold, I read a lot of the Glassdoor reviews on the company and concerns were raised in my head due to all of the negative reviews. Following my in-person interviews with the team I would be working for, all of those concerns were completely gone. Now working for the company for about a year, I can see that Diebold has come a long way from where they were 3 years ago thanks to the leadership of Andy Mattes and his team of executives.

    - Clearly defined goals and expectations
    - Strong executive/corporate communication
    - Overall positive energy throughout the company
    - Ping Pong tables (including tournaments)
    - Starbucks on-site
    - Decent cafeteria/food options
    - Good visibility to VP/Executives
    - Open/friendly work environment

    Cons

    - Compensation is slightly below market average but great for Northeast Ohio
    - While I appreciate the hard work the cafeteria crew puts in - the food quality could be kicked up a notch

    Advice to Management

    - Continue to improve your focus on employees and you will see a strong return in employer satisfaction.
    - Improve cafeteria food - include a wider variety of daily options
