    Pros

I started as an intern 3 years ago and due to my good work was integrated into the team while still an intern. They then hired me full time and I have been able to quickly pick up and support my project. This trust that they have given me will allow me to grow very quickly in my carreer as I am already becoming a lead on a project at work in just my first full time year. The pay is more then fair and the benefits are excellent. The managers I have worked with our very knowlegeable about engineering (not just from a business perspective) this allows for good communication back and forth from me to upper management.

    Cons

Actually, I have had very little to complain about. The biggest downside I guess would be having to deal with banks when issues come up. They can be very demanding and have little understanding of what they are talking about. This adds frustration and additional work that needs to be done to make them understand their problem so that you can better understand the problem.

    Advice to Management

Keep working on growing and developing new technology. Look at internal development rather then third party software.

    Pros

It looks like a lot of people like to stay long time with Diebold. I've seen many people with over 20 years at Diebold (including a few with over 40 years at the same company!).
I guess this has something to do with the management style and the fact that the collaboration between the people is a preferred work style (opposed to other companies preferring "tournament theory" - i.e. the competition between their employees).

    Cons

I can't really think about cons of working at Diebold.
As everywhere, you'll find all kind of people with different ideas and work experience -and Diebold is no exception, so it's possible to end up in a team where not all the people will like working together. I also this it depends on the position you get a Diebold (there are some positions which involves a lot of routine)

    Advice to Management

I don't have any specific advice to the leadership at Diebold. They are doing a pretty good job with this company which is over 140 years old.

I worked at Diebold Nixdorf full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The only reason that anyone is working in the Event Monitoring Center is because they can not find a better job because of the economy.

    Cons

No weekends off. TOTALLY UNDERPAID for the responsibility. You have to ask for permission to use the bathroom. You cannot even put your sweater on the back of you chair. There are only two 15 minutes breaks at the most - at times the first break is only 10 minutes. Audits on performance are picked according to the supervisors attitude toward the employee and if they want to start a paper trail to have you fired. You are yelled at throughout the shift and once again paid only 12$ an hour or a little more as an emergency dispatcher.

    Advice to Management

Find new management and raise the pay to at least 17$ an hour - that would be the right thing to do and fair!
