I worked at DigiCaptions India part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Used to be a good company.

    Cons

No respect for experienced staff. They'd rather hire inexperienced freshers for peanuts than give a raise to an older part-time employee and make him permanent.
Their hiring standards have fallen below par. They hire any sort who can barely pass their test, and this is turn leads to below par editors who're just in it for the peanuts and some work experience.
Quit ASAP when you hear your company has been taken over. They have no value for employees from other companies and you'll be treated like you barely exist.
They have no benefits for part-time employees, however long you've been working for them.
Highly unprofessional human resources team. They have no clue what's going on with each other and love doling out unfulfilled promises. They cannot resolve simple issues and prefer to blame third parties for their inconsistencies. The attrition rate in the HR team itself is unsettling.
They lose employees everyday and don't care about retaining the staff they've spent time and money to train.
The editorial team is divided in two buildings and the management has no clue that some employees work from home and pretend to be in office. This has been happening for more than six months.
You'll get any future opportunities in the company only if you're best friends with senior staff.
You'll earn twice more as a freelancer, don't bother joining them full time.

    Advice to Management

Scrap the editorial department senior managers and/or provide training in management and soft skills. They're clueless and refuse advice from experienced staff. They love gossiping amongst themselves like teenagers.
