I worked at Digiliti Money full-time

    Pros

▽ Vacation isn't accrued, you get a pool for the year
▽Many amazingly talented and intelligent people
▽ Tech start-up so room to grow and feeling the positive effects of your efforts

    Cons

▽ Poorly structured business model that involves multiple third parties
▽CEO brought his girlfriend to work at the company - she since moved up to SVP level which had an effect on upper management as well as moral and respect for CEO
    ▽Poor alignment of resources
    ▽Completely running on investor funds
▽ Went public too soon and the up-listing to NASDAQ was very fake and pretend (investor cash allowed it to happen, company goals were not met)
▽ Very cliquey; a lot of instances of conflict of interest at play through out the enterprise
▽Overall an immature environment where executive level employees are constantly gossiping

    Advice to Management

If you are serious about running a business then project actual leadership and set a good example. IE if the company is strapped for cash and goals aren't being met, don't throw away the money on expensive hotel rooms and alcohol!

I worked at Digiliti Money full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Medical starts immediately
    - Weeks of vacation awarded immediately
    - Fun and competent teammates
    - Family environment

    Cons

    - Poor leadership
    - Lack of corporate vision
    - No full solution products. Everything is a one-off.
    - Every product requires interaction, and sometimes separate agreements, with other organizations.

    Advice to Management

Figure out where you're going before you take on the responsibility of influencing many people's careers.
Paint an accurate picture of the organization and its offerings versus selling it to new/potential employees.
Be honest, clear and proactive as opposed to misleading, vague and reactive to virtually anything and everything that occurs.

I have been working at Digiliti Money full-time

    Pros

No pros that are possible to speak of.

    Cons

Do not work here. Stay away. Do not contract or do anything with them. They will not pay you. And when they don't pay you, they will not return your phone calls or communicate with you about why you are not being paid. Management mismanaged funds and now cannot pay vendors, employees, anyone. Hands down the worst environment I have ever been in. Under no conditions, do not work here ever.

I worked at Digiliti Money full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    • Met some of the best people ever.
    • Hiring manager took a chance on me.
    • Gained professional work experience.
    • No micro-management (at least in my team).
    • Family work life balance.

    Cons

    • Company went public too early and now it's paying for it. CEO resigned and almost half of the company's staff were let go in the process including me.

    • Upper management lacks leadership, corporate vision, and decency. Very questionable values.

    • Poor business model - Don't know how to properly charge clients for projects. A lot of resources were put into projects that had no contracts signed or no revenue attached to it.

    • Tried to grow too fast and followed bad financial forecasts without doing any research to back up projections.

    • Turnover rates are high. No sense of job security at all. Really unstable company. Even long timers aren't safe.

Some people are nice but honestly, you can do much better than this poor excuse of a company. Don't work here. It's an arm's race right now to see who can update their resumes and get the hell out of there as quickly as possible. No one in the right mind is going to stay after all of these layoffs and poor company management. Better to leave on your own terms than to be forced out doing your job.

    Advice to Management

Don't cover up your mistakes and incompetency by firing bottom-line workers. Poor company performance always starts from the top-line. Not the other way around.

I have been working at Digiliti Money full-time

    Pros

Decent benefits, hardworkers with drive, competitive atmosphere.

    Cons

No standardization of process, constant infighting, high turnover. Zero career path in a company with a risky financial future.

    Advice to Management

Make a strong effort to invest in your employees and reduce turnover. Build a team instead of throwing contractors at problems.

I worked at Digiliti Money full-time

    Pros

I'll say this much: the work is interesting. It's a fascinating industry they're in, and with the necessary emphasis on security, it makes for an enlightening journey into banking.

    Cons

I think you can boil their problems down to one word: bullying. Senior managers bully leads, leads bully the worker bees.

    Advice to Management

You have created an intolerable work environment. Once you do your IPO, or get bought up by someone with deep pockets, let them have the problems, and go try doing something else.

    Pros

    No limitations on advancement.
Leadership has a clear vision on where it is heading.
First class technology and immense talent in the company.
    Great pay, benefits, and perks.
Everyone supports one another, we truly are one team.

    Cons

Communication between departments could be better (no worse than anywhere else I've worked)

    Advice to Management

    Have more communication flow downward.

    Pros

Hot products and high industry demand! Company is fast growing and now has a very impressive client base. The benefits are excellent and better than at any other company where I've worked. Entrepreneurial, motivated and talent employees have a real opportunity to shine and grow. The offices are also very nice and co-workers are supportive. I also love the Friday pizza, celebrations/events, and especially the quarterly bonuses.

    Cons

Not too much to say here as I've worked for young companies before and understand the high expectations and need for hard work and periodic overtime. More process and communications around product development would be helpful though.

    Advice to Management

Sharing company vision and strategy for the longer term would be appreciated. Better training for Sales and more time to establish their territories would also be good as the sales cycle can be long for some products.

    Pros

Great people, free pizza on friday. Opportunities to advance if you perform.

    Cons

Revolving door in sales. Change territories frequently. Lots of people get laid off or fired for a company of only 50 people.
