I have been working at Digital Infuzion full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you are passionate about making difference in health care, this is the place for you. It is exciting to wake up every day with a sense of mission and work with colleagues who are smart and passionate about their work.

Digital Infuzion has offered me the stability of a large corporation along with agility of a startup.

Fun and charitable events are organized throughout the year to engage employees and have a positive impact on the community. We have a pretty flat organization structure here and that might be the reason why few people think they don't see a career growth path. The truth is if you demonstrate innovation and are a self-stater you don’t need a title to lead here. This also means more flexibility, you can always walk to your product owner and discuss an innovative tool or technology that you want to implement in your project. If you want to switch to a different technology or a project they are open about it.

Overall, it has been a great experience working here.

    Cons

Nothing that I can think of

    Pros

Its CEO and employees are always trying to do the right thing. Digital Infuzion strives for quality for its clients and has a very strong sense of corporate responsibility that you don't always find. You won't see any corners being cut here. All of that makes you pretty proud to work for them.

    Cons

The family-like corporate culture they try to push always seems to fall flat with employees and is sometimes contrary to what management actually expects.

    Pros

If you are complacent great place to work.

    Cons

Too much talk. Double standards for owners and employees

    Advice to Management

To the owners — Good Employees Make Mistakes. Great Leaders Allow Them To..... You have few good employees. Learn to care for them. Treat them well. And they will be good to you. Don’t try to outsmart them all the time or show off your own accomplishments. Those were not individual. Treat it like a symbiotic relationship. Be more humble more kind. Every day they work you be more thankful. The way you are today will not allow for a great tomorrow. Treat employees like you treat clients. Same amount of respect. Reply to their emails. Meet with them on time. Great leaders value their employees time as much as their own or even more. Show this in action not words. Consistently. When you make a mistake or are overly harsh own it. Not just the ones you convert to your own advantage but all your mistakes. The humility builds trust. Being genuinely authentic builds trust. When you are hurtful, apologize. Defending yourself as if the other person misunderstood you is transparent and can be insulting too.

    Pros

There are extremely intelligent people, equipped to make a difference.

    Cons

You will work weekends, after hours, Holidays and guess what? It still will NOT be enough. There is no guidance. There is NO training. The expectations are high but they will drag you and throw you under the bus for anything. Turnover rate is high but that is obvious as to why.

    Advice to Management

Senior management has ZERO idea. They expect a great culture but the culture is as follows: If a manager likes you and you praise their every move you will be ok. If you provide suggestions or feedback, the eye-rolls will be coming and the hostility will be at an all time high and chances are they will talk behind your back consistently. Management should pay attention to all the great talent walking out of the door and analyze as to why, and then perhaps, there will be improvement.

    Pros

Really passionate CEO and some interesting work. It's all healthcare related iT development, so if you're into that this is a good place to land.

    Cons

Gaithersburg is kind of out there. Not the best location in the DC metro area.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Digital Infuzion full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. Great place for Technical Learning Opportunities
    2. Family like culture
    3. Leadership team has high technical skills

    Cons

    1. Titles not industry appropriate (Inflated titles but lower level work expected)
    2. Does not believe in manager roles only technical contributors
    3. Leadership promises organization growth but lacks belief, clear strategy and skills. For over a decade, no growth (has been working with one big contract and a couple of small ones)

    Advice to Management

    1. Don't promise flashy future/lofty growth when there is no sincere belief, funding or strategy fueling it
    2. Separate ownership from management - too many issues because of that (trust, growth, employee engagement etc.)

    Pros

Location is nearby if you're based in the rockville/gaitherburg area. They have a gym very closeby. The CEO is a driven and inspiring person. A lot of the upper level employees were very smart and good at their jobs.

    Cons

Seemed like a good amount of people there were experienced, but not very good at their jobs.
