I have been working at DigitalPersona full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good culture, some nice colleagues, some jerks that management puts up with.

    Cons

16 years in business, growth stalled.

    Advice to Management

Buying Authentec was a good move, get a VP of Marketing who has a clue, increase size of sales department.

I worked at DigitalPersona full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Interesting biometrics products.
Good reputation for Customer Service; great customers.
Many good people to work with.
Always made the best fingerprint readers for commercial applications in the industry.

    Cons

Culture has changed in the last year, due to being acquired by Private Equity firm.
Marketing has not improved product strategy or execution, and communications with employees and customers non-existent.
New management team has created a negative culture; people are afraid to ask questions.
Merger with CrossMatch has resulted in lay-offs.

    Advice to Management

Improve Marketing by hiring people who understand the biometrics market and care about communication, both internally and externally.
Products are outdated; need to be innovative again.
