      Pros

The projects and people are smart, interesting, and highly engaging. I've really enjoyed learning about complex scientific processes and working with great people.

      Cons

It's hard to get converted to full time.

      Great company. Terrible Finance Department.

      Pros

OUTSIDE OF FINANCE Great company. Great culture. Great people. Great philanthropy.

      Cons

Very unsupportive. As I stated before this is a great company to work for but you are given unrealistic expectations and deadlines from management as PM’s have seen many analysts lose their jobs in such a short period of time. Analysts have lost their job for simply not getting along with management. If you do not fit their mold you are basically set up for failure. Any client or report that seems tedious to management will automatically be given to you. This is not the ideal place to start your career despite all the pros as you will leave thinking finance is not the career for yourself.

      Digitas Health Response

      Director, Talent Acquisition

First, thank you for your feedback. I am distressed to hear your feelings surrounding your experience while on the Finance team here at DH. We strive to support our team members across DH, including Finance, and provide valuable development and training to ensure all managers provide leadership, guidance and opportunity. While due to confidentiality concerns we cannot discuss former employees, I can confidently say that no one at DH has ever lost out on a job or opportunity because of “not getting along” with another team member. We pride ourselves on welcoming new ways of thinking and approaching challenges while maintaining strict financial requirements. With that said, I welcome you to speak to anyone on our HR team to confidentially discuss this and any other concern you may have. We are a team of teams and our goal is that everyone has a stellar employee experience. Thank you again for your feedback. Ann Cinque – Finance Director

Poorly organised, poorly managed, poor miscommunication

      Pros

Digitas Health is a big company. And like most big companies, it has great benefits, a few great people, and a variety of opportunities to advance. Every employee has a job title that promotes confidence in their job.

      Cons

Employees here are too busy. Their always in meetings or unreachable at times. This makes it hard to get work done. People promise to be in touch or get back to you and then. Ball dropped. There's no sense of work-life balance. The lines of "having a life" and working around the clock are blurred. It often seems as though the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Communication is duplicated. Followups are virtually nonexistent. Feedback on projects is minimal.

Great place to begin your career

      Pros

Resume builder, great for those young in their career Great people Fun, lively open office feel Nearly everyone who works there is attractive Great culture Free Wawa coffee Opportunities to work on the biggest healthcare brands - but don't think you're going to make any impact. With 5+ agencies at the table and yearly strategy/client turnover it's more of a game of blocking and tackling to hold onto business than it is about driving business objectives for the brand or (gasp) supporting patients/professionals. You're going to learn how to create good PowerPoint decks - lots of them If you're any good you're going to learn how to navigate bloated and dysfunctional client/agency groups to get things done - a valuable skill to have Benefits are fantastic, you literally get two months off every year

      Cons

Seems to be a leadership vacuum at the top. Too many layers of Publicis leads to... Slow moving on raises and promotions, you will be doing work at a level above your role for months to years before being considered for promotion When you do get a bump it's still below market value (they need that money to pay the many layers between you and Paris) Recent turn over has led to poor staffing, which leads to more turnover. Typically overworked, which doesn't lend itself to strategic thinking Media department is a factory filled with young overworked good-looking recent college grads with little sense of what goes into a successful healthcare marketing strategy.

Loved the work, loved the people

      Pros

The environment there is great! I was there for 9 months, and i made excellent work, met great people and learned a lot! The exploration and attention to the work is more than I expected with Pharma work.

      Cons

As a contractor you're given sub par machines, and less than great seating and locations to work. You're expected to carry your laptop, papers, etc, home every day. You're not given comfortable or permanent seating.
