Pros
lots of opportunity for training. Standard big agency amenities, stocked drinks, snacks, beer. Vendors come and go for lunch n learns. Random drinking events. Team Sports.
Cons
They will not promote within unless you play their games. All the politics, I mean all of them. Everyone trying to outdo each other for that shiny promotion. Though you have been doing the job above yours for the last 6 months. If you do get promoted, it will take 6 months to actually see the salary change. Oh, also. For some reason, everyone feels the need to stay super late.

Pros
None that comes to mind.
Cons
Most of the good people — especially on the creative side — are long gone. The creative department is now mostly kids who've never been properly trained or mentored. And creative leadership can barely be considered "creative." I'm not sure where they came from.
Advice to Management
You have to change the culture. It would start by picking up new and better clients. Right now, everyone wants to leave.

Pros
My interviewing process was a relatively smooth process. My HR contact was very responsive and kept me in the loop with where they were in the hiring process. I had 4 phone interviews and 1 face-to-face that included (6) interviewers. Although the interviewing process was intense it was very informative and allowed me to ask an array of questions as well. - I was hired shortly after my last interview -... What I appreciated the most is that my direct manager really listened to my concern about being on-boarded properly (major misstep in most companies BUT seems to be a major issue in most agencies) That said, my manager really did a good job with ensuring I was brought on to the team and the client correctly. - The office as a whole exudes good energy and appears to be supportive of each other. - Tech support worked diligently to make sure all of my equipment, the software was working properly on my Mac and if not their response time was expedited when I called in my issues. - Work Life balance appears to be common across all levels, which is nice for an agency. - Lastly, people here are smart BUT NOT arrogant again is nice to see within the agency world.

- client projects seem to be inconsistent, which is scary since that is how people stay employed.

RecommendsPositive OutlookI have been working at Digitas full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Overall great culture, supportive people, excellent learning opportunities and big-name clients. SO much vacation, especially counting the number of company holidays. Truly flexible working—it's totally fine if you want to work from home or have to leave early and then be online later. As long as you get your work done. It's as feasible as your projects/allocation allows.
Cons
Open office and no desk is a bit much. There are some office politics, as always. Promotions are slow to go through, and I've seen this cause a lot of turnover. Holding company politics usually don't affect the day to day, but it does feel pretty disconnected.

Pros
After working at a large agency, Digitas was refreshing as there were no rules. I was given interesting assignments and I was able to change roles easily. The leadership was very accessible.
Cons
There was a lot of focus on organic revenue and new business. Ongoing conversations around financial health and margin were more than I normally experienced at agencies. If you are working on an client outside of the largest one in Chicago it's often difficult to get the right resources on your account.
