I have been working at Dignity Health full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The union protection, and the patients.

    Cons

Upper management plays favorites. Especially in the Telemetry department, supervisors gossip with staff about other staff members. Sometimes in front of others, very unprofessional. A lot of back stabbing, and trying to get people that are not in the in crowd in trouble.

I worked at Dignity Health full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great people and staff, decent benefits

    Cons

Upper management, CEO's VP's are unrealistic in their expectations, they spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on artwork and gardens, yet are cheap with the staff, working sometimes skeleton crews. Upper management are also WAY overpaid.

I worked at Dignity Health full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Job opportunities; they will take new grads (which is also a downside for patient care).

    Cons

Can't trust upper management; They USED to have good benefits, but be weary of them now; they are not open to new/updated ideas for positive change. Management is incompetent where I was concerned with no changes despite multiple complaints/issues.

I worked at Dignity Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Flexibility with hours, ability to telecommute and support for maintaining job if you move out of state.

    Cons

Unpredictable, upper management does not communicate and there is virtually no rewards program. Management will set timelines based on their career goals but without any real assessment of the effort required. Also, learn to show some gratitude or appreciation when major efforts are completed.

I have been working at Dignity Health full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great benefits, no premium medical. Decent pay. Night shift premiums about 17% and weekend 10% premiums. Ability and flexibility within schedule, decent retirement plans, life insurance and disability benefit options. There's a lot of great staff, and most function well as a team. If you are part of the clique then they care about you.

    Cons

Micromanaging, lazy upper management, constantly changing the job duties, and lots of gossiping amongst staff, if you are not part of the clique they will make your life miserable, management is always looking for others to throw under the bus.
