    I worked at Dignity Health

    Pros

    Excellent opportunities for career advancement

    Cons

I feel that middle management does an excellent job. I can say that upper management at the corporate level is detached from the realities at the patient care level.

I worked at Dignity Health full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Staff is mostly great. Benefits for medical are free to employee and family which is major. Salary is also quite good in Sacramento.

    Cons

Upper management not in touch with rank and file. Human kindness does not start at the top as they would like the world to believe. Staffing ratios can not meet productivity expectations no matter how staff may try.

I worked at Dignity Health for less than a year

    Pros

For a non-profit organization, they pay their contractors well; commensurate to corporate organizations of the same size.

    Cons

IT and any information systems department is disorganized, under-resourced, and have many ill-skilled individuals running the show. Most of the upper-management seem to be very irritable and demanding. They tend to hire and fire contractors quickly and easily. They also play "bait and switch" often (hiring you for one role, but putting you in other roles).
