    I worked at Dillard's full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Clothing retail is awesome when morale is up,the economy us up, and management treats you like a professional. It was helpful to get training and to have lots of product knowledge.

    Cons

When long hours wear you out and quotas are down, they have more annoying contests! Ran ran contests that pit one type of department against another that don't make the same kind of sakes is unfair.

    Advice to Management

Keep treating the employees in high end retail like they are high end sellers! You'll get them to feel less like expendable people and they'll have pride in their job.
