I have been working at Dillard's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very professional, promotes quickly, competitive pay. There's a great sense of urgency when it comes to Dillards. There's a lot of high expectations, and with it comes a high reward.

    Cons

Can definitely be hard to have that work/life balance. Some 6 day work weeks and holidays are especially difficult when it comes to time off.

    Pros

Family owned. Family oriented. Fun. Events for staff and freebies. Discounts.

Everybody competes for sales because you have a goal to hit to keep your pay.Pay increases and decreases depend on you hitting your quota. Kind of stuffy clientele. Most shoppers wait for the clearance time to shop so the amount that goes to your quota is very small.
