    Pros

Great work life balance and wonderful environment to work.

    Cons

Growth can be limited due to it being a small size company. Salary on the low side but incentive helps out as long as you work hard.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Dime Community Bancshares full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The people you work with are like family. i have been there a long time and have made many friends who i would run to help with just a call.

    Cons

The upper management is in transition. They used to car about their employees and new people who have come in have changed that. I see many open positions and low morale.

    Advice to Management

Treat the people who work for you like people and not just a number on a report. Remember you are only as good as the the loyalty you earn from your employees.
Mr. Palagiano is no longer the CEO and that has been the biggest change.

I have been working at Dime Community Bancshares full-time

    Pros

Hours are great depending on the branch. Some branches close at 3 and you will leave at 4.

    Cons

There is hardly room for growth in such a small company. The pay is horrible. People literally work here for fun.

    Advice to Management

Pay employees better. Give them a reason to be motivated. Do not harass them.
