    Pros

Excellent work environment for those who want a lot of latitude in how to achieve their goals. Involved peers and training tools.

    Cons

Management can often seem hesitant in making decisions. Multiple tools to use to get things done but no over reaching central connection between them which makes research difficult.

    Advice to Management

Centralize, organize and evolve data sharing and accessibility.

    Advice to Management

Stop what you are doing and look at how a good company like Virgin Media is run or John lewis who respect and value their employees.
If you did this you would have less staff turnover and a much happier work force.

I have been working at Dimension Data full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Plenty of learning opportunities. A few dedicated great workers who want to make a difference. Flexible times and working remotely. Exposure to different clients (if client facing)

    Cons

Many workers have a 'don't care attitude'. Senior and Executive Management have no clue what direction to take and what is happening on an operational level. Too many promises made to clients just for them to sign the contracts and move on. No proper Development on services. Remuneration is probably the worst of all the major IT companies in the country. The company keeps going through restructures which Management term 'streamlining' - is just basically retrenchment where the inept workers are kept and many of the great workers are thrown out. A lot of awesome personnel have left this company because of the way they were treated and because of the uncertainties.

    Advice to Management

Start listening to the Operational guys. Stop making such pie in the sky plans without any proper development. Stop just trying to make money from clients, without actually listening to what clients really want. Start engaging yourselves right down due the Service Desks and engineers. Management is very poor and has to be worked on
