    Pros

    My first Manager was the best.
    Certificate programs are available (paid for by company).

    In some instances salary not commensurate with qualifications.
    'Team work' is not necessarily there

    Advice to Management

    Have HR share update s on persons who have completed certification or degrees and see how best to fit them into a new role especially if that is their desire. Also give them an in increase commensurate with qualifications and based on the average salary for that position within the area/state.

    Pros

    Emergency room manger is awesome! On my shift at night, we are family. No back biting.

    Cons

    University of Maryland took over managing the hospital and it's a changeven but it is a good change so far.

    Pros

    The employees (charge nurses) are awesome, they really care about the patients and hospital.

    Cons

    Upper leadership is clueless to the day to day operations and they do not care about patient care or the employees.

    Advice to Management

    Fire them all (directors and upper leadership) and hire professional healthcare workers with experience and the compassion for patients, as well as employees.
