I worked at Dippin Dots part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    One free item each shift
    Flexible schedule
    Lovely customers

    Cons

Dead during the week, but busier on weekends
    Rude customers
Nepotism (boss fired me in favor of his niece)

    Advice to Management

Don't hire employees outside of your family, praise them for doing a good job, then fire them in favor of your relatives! That is despicable and unacceptable. I feel used!

I worked at Dippin Dots (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really easy job, great for a second job or seasonal. Short hours, flexible breaks, and customers aren't that bad! I spent the majority of my shift reading, doing homework, or binge watching stuff on Netflix.

    Cons

Not many I can think of, I could say that customers can be would every once in a while, but that is consistent with any job that deals with customers.

    Advice to Management

Improve on communication with ALL employees, not just a select few. Work on organizing paperwork a bit more and making a better scheduling system.

I worked at Dippin Dots part-time

    Pros

Good experience working with inventory and dealing with customers. Required a lot of self-discipline and integrity to do the job the right way without direct supervision or management.

    Cons

You had to work by yourself. During down time, it could get boring or lonely. During busy times, you could get overwhelmed and customers could get angry.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the people are well-trained. Make sure the ice-cream is always stocked. Try to make it a better work experience for your employees.

    Pros

laid back, no overhead, no micro managing

    Cons

Pay- They do not log your hours correctly, Manager is incompetent of doing his job correctly and efficiently. Choses to pick his buddies that steal from the registers to work the decent positions rather than the honest employees.

    Advice to Management

Meet your managers. Don't just call them in.. What your running in Kansas City (Royals Stadium) is a Joke.
