    Pros

Amazing culture (Discount Tire Family). I always feel like I am doing something significant by helping people stay safe. Love not having to work nights or Sundays.

    Cons

Working conditions are strenuous especially during the winter.

I have been working at Discount Tire part-time for less than a year

    Pros

high wages, i cant think of any other pros

    Cons

where do i start... i cant speak for all stores but the one i work at has been terrible from day one. I'm constantly bullied, belittled, and berated by nearly everyone there including managers. Ive reported it to higher ups at the store and nothing has changed. The place seems very clicky if you dont "fit in" your given the short end of the stick where all you end up doing is grunt work. For the last three days I've been assigned to the acing position which is doing nothing but air checks and cleaning up everyones mess. Its the same for another employee who doesnt seem to fit in. I understand were not the fastest techs especially with the busy season starting but you cant get better if you arent allowed to do the job.

I have been working at Discount Tire full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great benefits, fair pay, great people, company picnic’s and gathering’s.

    Cons

It seems the company is promoting more on sales and numbers, remember you can train sales and numbers not loyalty and reliability!

I worked at Discount Tire part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

If you want to succeed, you can and will. Hard work is rewarded from pt school kids all the way up. Attainable goals with training and support when you ask for it. No one will do it for you!

    Cons

Traveling to different stores for work when you become full-time. The caliber of employees in the shop can be pretty poor sometimes. Work ethics aren't always shared by all, leading to conflict if you aren't a good people person or don't have good management.
