Pros
nice views from the office windows. Benefits perhaps.
Cons
This place is run by inexperienced fresh outta college 'professionals.' The 'research staff' is no more than a call center. There's little interaction w/ upper management other than company meetings where no one dare say what is on their minds. It's a soul crushing experience all in all.

Coworkers become friends who are more like family!
Jul 8, 2016 - Research in Vancouver, WARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
DiscoverOrg is a place that accepts everyone for who they are. You feel comfortable being you from the moment you walk through the doors. Everyone has an open door policy for everything and anything. People are friendly and accepting. Everyone works together as a team and is willing to help one another no matter what team they are on. DiscoverOrg is like a puzzle, every team has their job which in return supports another team and so on. The end result is this amazing product that keeps growing, selling and getting better each and every day. Upper management works hard to make sure everyone else has the tools and knowledge to succeed. The CEO is very hard working, selfless, respectable, honest, and knowledgeable. The pay is awesome and the company really cares for each and every employee. The people I have worked with over the years have become more of family than coworkers. The company recognizes people who put in hard work and rewards the hard work put in.
Cons
PTO separate from sick days.

Hmmm... Politics, politics
Jun 13, 2016 - Marketing in Vancouver, WARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Extremely interesting work; mostly great and dedicated people with whom to work; technical challenges; exceptional work ethic
Cons
Accommodations, meaning work-space really reeks; the company used to be a very politics-free organization but recent staff additions, mainly in management has changed that way for the worse. People I know who have been 'let go' are never counseled and given the opportunity to rectify the situation. Employees just get told one day to go to HR and then they are let go; management refuses to communicate with employees with respect to performance or behavior issue, they just let them go; the company, IMHO, is very biased with respect to LGBT persons. In the past year two 'out' transsexuals and one disabled veteran have been let go, the CEO is prone to lashing out with little or no warning and chastising and yelling at employees in front of their peers. The benefits are not very good though they do have a reasonably decent 401(k) plan.
