    Pros

Making the Magic of Disney come alive for guests made working at Disney magical. The perks provided to cast members were great too.

    Cons

It was difficult to communicate with your direct manager. Sometimes you go months without seeing your direct manager, so it makes it difficult to get feedback on your own performance.

    Advice to Management

Cast Members need to have regular meetings with their own manager to get performance feedback, and to provide feedback to management as well.

    Pros

People are willing to help you achieve your goals, and everyone has a good attitude at work. There's a reason people work here their entire lives. The benefits are good and hard work is recognized in one way or another.

    Cons

It truly depends on who is your direct report, but do make sure to get a feel for who you will be reporting to, as this will be the biggest factor in your experience there.

    Advice to Management

Suggestion would be to have evaluations for managers, so that employees can reach out to leadership in cases of unfair or disrespectful treatment.

    Pros

You have access to all Disney parks,at all times. You also receive lots of free tickets and guest packages. You get to know all the secrets!

    Cons

You will work very hard all the time! They will slave you! There will be crazy hours and days you will have to work with no exception.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest a higher base pay. For the hard work all the employees out in,they should be payed twice as much. Also ,stop being scared to promote employees. Disney promote based on seniority .

    Pros

    Great brand name recognition when looking for other jobs;
Great coworkers for the most part

    Cons

Disney is always looking to do things for less money which means after a solid and dedicated career, you may find yourself laid off just before you qualify for a pension. Organization is too big and very disorganized when dealing with other departments, you will be shamed into choosing work over family and innovations and creativity are not valued the way conformity is.

    Pros

    Free admission to all Parks.

    Cons

Your really just a number. And the Old Timers really don't like younger people there working.
