I have been working at Disney Parks & Resorts part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Best perk is being able to bring your family in a certain amount of times per year to the parks for free!

    Cons

The commute is a con for me personally but I have no con to mention about the job itself.

I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Hard working, flexible, on time

    Cons

    Noisy, busy, crowded

    Advice to Management

    Loosen things up around here

I have been working at Disney Parks & Resorts full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Amazing Benefits across central Florida, Company sports and activities that promote a healthy work life balance.... and of course; "Its Disney!"

    Cons

Even though incentives promote work/life balance there virtually is no balance at all. Little growth for aspiring leaders, compensation is minimal in comparison to the work being done.

I have been working at Disney Parks & Resorts part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great perks with park entry and getting friends into the parks.

    Cons

scheduling made no room for time off or even a few days off during the week. Why should a part time employee have to be fully available and never get a day off? I have never worked for a company that did not allow giving away shifts or trading shifts to off. Scheduling is horrible

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees, it is obvious they are all just problems and numbers to you.

I have been working at Disney Parks & Resorts full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I've worked some of the most unique and exciting positions I likely ever will.

    Cons

The opportunity to advance and achieve a truly livable wage exists, but the chances of you doing so is on par with hitting the lottery.

    Advice to Management

Stop driving your workforce into the ground. People should not be consistently forced to work six and seven days a week. And when they are working 60 to 70 hours a week, they should at least not be making so little that they still qualify for government subsidies. No company should expect the US tax payer to foot the bill for their profits.

I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

profit sharing, health benefits, free entry to parks, cast members that you work with and training.

    Cons

Systems always down, penalize you for customer not being happy if there is no availability to stay on property or even close to Walt Disney.

    Advice to Management

Rebuild your system. Find ways to keep employees instead finding ways to terminate.

I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits. Free park admission. Health insurance. Discounts locally as well as throughout the parks. Some coworkers become like family.

    Cons

No matter how hard you work it's never enough. The managers will find the most ridiculous reason if they don't like you, to get rid of you.
