I have been working at Disney Studios as a contractor

    Pros

Great work environment. Exiting place with all the great film people shooting movies and shows...work life balance is awesome. They encourage moving around if you are doing contract work here and are performing.

    Cons

I would rather be a full-time employee than a contractor.

    Advice to Management

Lift the hiring freeze in departments that are understaffed.

I worked at Disney Studios as an intern

    Pros

They truly put a lot of effort in to their internship program. My supervisors worked hard to improve my skills and help me network with other execs. I wouldn't have gotten my current job without their help.

    Cons

There is little entry level openings at Disney Studios. I wish they would add more head count.

    Advice to Management

Great job! I think my management knew what they were doing and had a great program.

I worked at Disney Studios full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Co-workers have become friends for life. The possibilities for advancement and movement is terrific. They invest a lot of time into their employees growth. This is all if you are in the right department with great leaders.

    Cons

The pay is a little bit lower then other studios, but they make it up in benefits and perks.

    Advice to Management

Continue to mentor and give the necessary tools to succeed.
