    Pros

Great environment and supportive, collaborative team members. Agreed - long-term employees are proud to be a part of the organization.

    Cons

It can be a little challenging to navigate the organization at times given how large it is. But it's nothing that some persistence cannot overcome.

I worked at Disney Studios full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The best reason to work at Disney Studios is the opportunity to work with people everyday whose passion for what they do is a shared experience. The Disney cast members are the people who carry the torch and ensure that Disney's innovation and excellence in entertainment lives on. This excellence can be the experience of an adrenaline rush from a roller coaster ride to the action on the big screen. Everyday, someone, somewhere is being touched by a Disney brand.

    Cons

A commitment and dedication to hard work is a given, and the rewards are immeasurable.

    Advice to Management

Acknowledgments of accomplishments are always greatly appreciated by all.

I worked at Disney Studios as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Highly structured intern program, aimed at exposing interns to as many different arms of the company as possible.
-Fun perks like free access to Disneyland and seeing behind the scenes
-Personally, my manager was very hands on and excited to teach me about our department & not just give me old papers to file all day (although that did happen)
    -Competitive pay

    Cons

-There seems to be a lot of "office politics" going on
-The execs are distant and mostly unaccesssible

    Advice to Management

Take the time to get feedback from the lowest on the totem pole and the newest additions to the team-- they are the ones who may be able to see things in a way that people who have been there for years would not be able to.
