    Cons

everything... I'll explain... I was supposedley trained at 1 store a River City Cafe to be a opener for their new River City Cafe store in Socastee. My training was only to the extent of doing prep never learned the line... then went to the Socastee location and 2 days later was let go by the GM who said I was too slow... Im not slow been cooking all my life, with over 30 yrs of experience... found out later that GM was fired... so see what goes around come back to you!!

    Advice to Management

learn people skills... stop being rude to employees

I worked at Divine Dining Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Good reputation in the community

    Cons

Ownership has zero engagement with employees at any level. They really don't give a @#%!

    Advice to Management

Get a clue or your future is dim

    Pros

If they ever figure out a chain of command and practice what they preach, it could be great place to work. Sad waste of great concepts.

    Cons

Very poor pay for the industry.
Terrible upper management, they NEVER do what they say or say what they mean
20 years in the business and I have to say this is the worst company that I ever worked for.
They preach quality of life but 60 hour work weeks are a norm with no overtime for salaried managers.
    No bonus structure.

    Advice to Management

Get on the same page. Three different voices with three different sets of direction is a set up for failure.

Alot of hours even for Hospitality Management and a 6 day work week was more the norm.

    Pros

One of the perks for me are having 3 days around Christmas off

    Cons

Not much room to grow past general manager. It's a small company.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.
