I have been working at Dixon Hughes Goodman full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility, the people, their efforts to promote work life balance and to host many social events throughout the year, much better hours than working at larger big-4 type firms

    Cons

Public accounting, emphasis on meeting budgets that are sometimes unrealistic

I have been working at Dixon Hughes Goodman part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Generally good about offering plenty of hours if you are willing to travel Monday through Friday.

    Cons

You only get notified on Thursday or Friday as to where the next assignment is and have to scramble making your own travel arrangements.

    Advice to Management

Keep part timers in the loop regarding future assignments.
