Pros

Great place to learn for those with less experience in their designated fields

Cons

Many of the reviews on this page are from one department and do not reflect an accurate image of what the employee experience is like at DocSend. While there are some smart and intelligent people working here, DocSend is a junior company with junior leadership. If you are looking for a place to develop and grow, I do not recommend joining this team. Communication is fragmented and the product is inferior to competition. Retaining customers has proven to be difficult and business growth is stagnant. Many of the reviews suggest management is caring. I have witnessed and experienced three separate layoffs since joining DocSend with zero warning for those impacted. Be cautious.

Pros

-(Mostly) approachable management team -HR is compassionate and invested in employee well-being -Top to bottom, everyone is a great person

Cons

-Relatively inexperienced management team manifests itself in well intentioned but often lackluster decision making -Odd culture that is largely defined by awkwardness, insecurity, and uncertainty -Lack of well-defined direction and strategic vision means frequent pivots -The current Glassdoor rating is very misleading and does not accurately represent employee satisfaction at the company

Pros

- First of all, I've never worked with more humble, friendly, approachable founders in my entire life. The founders are here to run an incredibly successful business, but they're also here to make sure that members of the DocSend family feel accepted, excited, and included at work, and that shows. - My team is incredibly intelligent and creative, and together we think of ideas I never would've thought of on my own. At the same time, members of my team aren't afraid to admit when something is out of their wheelhouse. Those who thrive at DocSend work hard and embrace asking for help. We may work individually sometimes, but we accomplish as a team. - I have never worked in such a genuinely warm, upbeat, and positive environment. It's not all about being extroverted necessarily, either. Shy or outspoken, new or an OG, people at DocSend truly care about each other -- that shows as well. - At DocSend, the teams are lean, and I've gotten opportunities to learn and grow that I don't think I would've gotten elsewhere. Aside from a true investment in both mentorship and outside education opportunities, I have noticed that there's a real consideration of how people here want to professionally grow, and it's something managers care about and remember. - Every day I face a new challenge, but I never feel like I'm going it alone.

Cons

Honestly, I really can't think of any! DocSend has by far been the best experience I've encountered in my professional career. This company is a gem.
