    Cons

    Cons

I worked at Domino Printing full-time

    Pros

Great business and many able staff makes it an exciting place to work - good atmosphere and great canteen make it very pleasant environment.

    Cons

Business tens to grow and contract cyclically so tends to over recruit and then have redundancy/ reorg every 4-6 yrs

    Advice to Management

Listen to your engineers - it is not just about the bottom line. Hire and fire alternated with nurture and develop approach can leave people a bit cynical of upper management

I have been working at Domino Printing full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Flexible, fun, supportive leadership. Technical challenges make for intersting work. Excellent support for training and cpd. Good share scheme. Generally I think staff feel valued. I feel that there is a good future for Domino with good growth potential.

    Cons

Limited career progression. Pension contributions from employer are 5% only tiding with time or on promotion, which is not especially competitive

    Advice to Management

You will need to provide more opportunities for career progression and salary growth as the local economy heats up, to keep the best people.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Domino Printing full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Smart and motivated people, a global perspective and strong growth history. Works for most manufacturing industries and in most countries. Likes to innovate and improve.

    Cons

Very short term results focused, can neglect the long term plans and copes badly with longer term changes. Fails to understand how to motivate technical people. Limited resources for technology creation, or other innovations, can be frustrating. You are free to have the vision, but implementation takes too long or doesn't happen.

    Advice to Management

This business is very financially strong but It's time to move the structure forward to something that recognises the scale of the business and that managing strategies at a country level is too expensive. Rebalancing of control to regions needed and more resources to allow corporate improvements to be implemented.
Not everyone is motivated by cash bonuses. Other forms of reward are needed.
