    Pros

I enjoyed the experience very much. It gave me the experience that I really wanted and needed. Thanks a bunch.

    Cons

There was really no down side to this job. It was what I fully expected. An academic coach is hard.

I have been working at Dooly County School System full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I really do enjoy working with the people and children of Dooly County.

    Cons

The only con is that I am not getting paid what I am worth. I am doing the job of two people on one person's salary.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

The school system has the best benefits package around. Benefits include retirement, state health insurance and dental insurance. Plenty of time off during Holidays!

    Cons

The lack of leadership, trust and communication. The lack of communication leaves you unaware of sometimes necessary information. There is a mistrust of board members who micromanage the school system and do not follow their own policies. There have been numerous staff firings and transfers which makes the employees fearful and nervous.

    Advice to Management

The administration needs to establish and implement a continuous improvement process. They need to retain qualified staff to lead and guide the school system.
