RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Dorschel Automotive full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
The Leadership was fantastic, offering great feedback and support. They give you ample time to learn the product and the process and allow you the freedom to run your own business.
Cons
You have to be a self-starter, that's resilient and adaptable. The business isn't for the faint of heart. But for those with tenacity, that enjoy working with people and being the support they need to navigate a big purchase, it's the job for you.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Dorschel Automotive full-time for less than a year
Pros
lunch sat is provided, work with a lot of great sales people,
Cons
very misleading pay structure, too many sales consultants (24 or more at dorschel toyota) common to see only 1 person a day and sometimes none gets worse in the winter months , some team leaders are very condescending , rude and disrespect at the toyota branch.

Doesn't RecommendI have been working at Dorschel Automotive full-time for less than a year
Pros
It pays the bills until a better opportunity opens somewhere else.
Cons
There is a lot of pressure by the managment to falsify time sheets, skip lunch breaks, come in excessively early, and sacrafice your days off. Those who show resistance to the "culture of work" at the dealsership will quickly find themselves at the bottem of the board, or even off completely, thereby limiting all income opprotunities.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI have been working at Dorschel Automotive full-time for more than a year
Pros
decent training program and supportive mid-level managers to assist in your training. Easy to move up or to a different department if you would like. Unique approach to selling cars, truly ahead of the curve in this respect.
Cons
definitely a "churn and burn" mentality. there is always a new training class starting and fewer than 10% of those that make it through training will be there within one year. very low employee morale and poor culture. Be prepared to take a well below industry average starting pay, learn everything you can and then move on to another dealership. Many of the processes are unnecessarily complicated and lead to frustration and confusion for all parties as well as lowered customer service
