    Pros

Great management with an open door policy. Great OT. Hard work somedays but rewarding. If your willing to learn and stride forward to work in the "best beverage business in the americas," this is the place for you.

    Cons

Long Days. Driving being an occupational hazard as its own risk. A lot to learn if your new to the delivery and servicing of accounts.

    Advice to Management

Disconnect between upper to middle to salesman to drivers sometimes on product distribution to certain accounts in certain areas.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Not many at this present time of the company.

    Cons

Great times during the Cadbury reign but after the sell off things went down hill fast. Instead of a pop company, we became a 5S, 6S, Continuous Improvement, find ways to save money company instead. We were no longer being innovative or trying to strengthen our core brands we just came up with bad products and tried to sell them with mega marketing and a sales force hamstrung with polishing crap.
Management is unprofessional and has a master/slave relationship with the union workforce. Tons of backstabbing going on with the workers and managers, as well as thievery. Loyalty has gone out the backdoor because everyone is in a look out for #1 mentality. The worst company I have ever worked for.

    Advice to Management

All of your processes to get the most return on investment for the shareholders is great but don't forget we are a pop company. These are short term processes and in the long run you will have to sell pop to remain viable. Or just do everyone a favor and sell it! And our Core Values should be relevant all the time, not just during annual review time.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Competitive pay, good health benefits, progressive employer, room for advancement. There is also enough facilities in the southwest to afford the employee the ablility to transfer to different geographic areas.

    Cons

There can be a lot of pressure to produce results. Management can sometimes be unresponsive to employee's concerns about time constraints and equipment problems.

    Advice to Management

Have more open dialog with employees. Let them know you are listening and hear their concerns. Also work with them to address those concerns.

    Pros

When I first started, the pay and monitary benifits were great. The medical beneifit are satisfactory and start day 1 of employment.

    Cons

The politics at this branch is completely unreasonable. The current branch manager spews platitudes while his manager visits and does a 180 as soon as he leaves. He treats us with disdain. In my opinion, he needs to go. This used to be the best beverage place to drive for. The turnover is extremely high.

    Advice to Management

    Replace branch manager quickly.
