I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group (More than a year)

    Pros

Weekly Pay and benefits were good. We got to purchase drinks at discounted price, sometimes...

    Cons

FAVORITISM!! Some managers showed lots of favoritism to certain employers. They will fire you for no reason so they can bring people in who they want to work for the company.

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employers RIGHT!!

I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group (More than a year)

    Pros

I like the physical work of being a loader at the warehouse but I feel we're over worker and under paid .... great insurance but that's it

    Cons

The cons are the work sucks and management really doesn't do a very good job of making my job more efficient and there is a lot of favoritism

    Advice to Management

Raise the hourly rate and make the job more desirable and find a way to compensate the guys who are willing to do the next mans job or fire them

    Pros

The job and work schedule. The pay is decent. Being on your own during the work day. Off on weekends

    Cons

The pay. No employee involvement in anything. Always negative never any positive remarks most of the time. The employees who do a great job are treated the same as employees who get written up all the time

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employees better.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

DPSG fought to keep health insurance affordable, corporate building is green, on site gym, covered parking.

    Cons

DPSG didn't provide a merit increase to meet cost of living increase since 2015. DFW has become a hot spot but DPSG hasn't kept up with cost of living. They claim diversity but is doesn't happen. Ask about halal, vegetarian, vegan or kosher at company sponsored event and your are left with nothing. My team asked Sr. VP to allow us to provide feedback. We were told no. Not going to happen. We we not allow access to training materials because we were not at the management appropriate levels.

    Advice to Management

You work and exist in a new century. The old way of doing things does not appeal to your current workers, Mr. Young.

Taste test more types of soda than you thought existed. good benefits.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pretty good benefits and OK! Bonuses.

    Cons

Very high turnover. not enough compensation for the hours worked.

    I would not work here!

Management wants you to work 14-15 hours a day but only get compensated for 40 a week. so you get less than 6 hours of Sleep/ Family time to be back on time at work. No room for growth in the warehouse. Upper management works less than 50 hours week and get to see their family but you must work 65-80 hours sometimes 6 days a week so they get their bonus. There is no Work/ Life Balance here! HR doesn't help. They say "That's what salaried people do".
Upper Management pick who they want to grow and not on performance but on brown nosing. No communication with employees. Upper Management has no clue how to run a warehouse or their people. Very little training. No SOP'S or GMP's. you have no input even if you know how to run the warehouse in a safe and productive manner with good time management. Upper management will stab you in the back to make them look good. They will tell you to do one thing but go behind you and say they never said that!

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. help your employees if they need help.

    Pros

Great pay for the duties required. Machine operators are good people and knowledgeable about their tasks.

    Cons

Corporate motto of no blame fixing is just that, words. Everything is the production lines error, no matter what. They tell you that want change but every supervisor that recommends or develops change for the better are just given lip service. Nothing changes. They cannot keep middle level management! The machines are not being maintained to any level to even just manage production. The hourly employees are worked a minimum of 50hour weeks if not much more with very few days off.

    Advice to Management

Get your machines up to par and take better care of your people.
