I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Money is good could be better

    Cons

The hours are long and inconsistent, you could be there from 1pm til 6am at any given day simply cause people won't show up or people won't work regardless of how hard to or 5 other people work

    Advice to Management

Crack down on the all rules if Yu want any rule respected and no favoritism because it brews resentment making the workplace significantly less productive

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Room for advancement if you work hard and show results. I was able to advance to a branch manager role with no college degree because I showed up every day and showed commitment to my role and drove results.

    Cons

Constantly understaffed in front-line positions- merchandisers, drivers, and warehouse. This causes issues with customer service and puts sales team members into uncomfortable situations to explain to their customers why they didn't get service. Also, once you get to a higher level in the company you realize how underdeveloped training for front-line employees is. I had to develop an oboarding program for employees in my branch. In a company this large, there should be standard onboarding programs already in place. They also lack a lot of the infastructure that competitors have. From front-line personnel to management and support.

Like I said, you get what you put into it. It is what it is and it is what you make of it.

    Advice to Management

More standard work and training for frontline hiring. They put too many expectations on supervisors and district managers and there often is not enough support for them to do their jobs and excel. The level 7 supervisors and managers are often putting out fires and cannot grow as leaders because they lack the tools and TIME to do so.

    Pros

Fast Paced, variety, challenging dynamic embraces continuous improvement.

    Cons

Long hours, some politics could be stressful at times

    Advice to Management

Make sure to recognize employees even if it's just a "pat on the back." Goes a long way can be hard to do as everyone is so busy.

I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Off weekends unless it's a holiday week. Discounted drinks. Pretty laid back management.

    Cons

Picking system/equipment is horrible. Get ready to repeat yourself a million times a day. I can only speak for the twinsburg location but there's no incintive to work harder. Meaning the harder you work you actually get paid less because when you pick a certain number you can leave and that number changes everyday. pay is also too low 14.61 start 16.30 max after a year. Only 4 personals no sick days.

    Advice to Management

Pay more and add personal days. 4 days for a warehouse worker is a joke. The turn over is so bad that employees who have been working here less then a month are training new employees.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay is good if you work straight 40 hours. Hours and stores are decent to deal with. Benefits are good.

    Cons

Lacking Leadership, employees (can't keep people due to flat rate pay), make you feel like a number and not a person.

    Advice to Management

Pay hourly and mileage or you will keep chasing your tail.
