I worked at Dr. Reddy's full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits are above average, good experience, on-site lunch, pay can be above average, most people are very helpful

    Cons

Promotion opportunities, HR, no work life balance, coworkers, undisciplined, poor training, technology behind the times

    Advice to Management

Site management needs to wake up. The incompetent managers running the lab need to be fired, and real professionals need to be brought in. All workers need accountability for their work and mistakes. The lab is undisciplined and inappropriate. There is too much fraternising between management and coworkers. Workers need to stay busy and stop wasting time playing around, talking, and using company resources for their personal use. Management needs to stop trying to be workers friends and make their own choices. Management is puppeted by workers to get their way. If you're not like the workers, you're shunned. Workers love to drink and party, gossip, backstab, talk bad about each other and other departments. Lab has superiority complex. Lab workers are materalistic, selfish, worldly, and some of the most ugly, hateful people I've ever known. This needs to be addressed. It needs to be stopped. Get good people in the lab. The current workers are a disgrace to the company and everything it stands for!

I worked at Dr. Reddy's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits package is amazing and 401k contribution is top line. Pay is potentially good.

    Cons

Impossible to level up to get pay raise. Management is ridiculous. Upper management is awesome, but front-line is horrible. They are more worried about looking good as opposed to quality of product. HR representatives, other than HR director, are impossible to deal with. Not helpful at all. Instead of supporting the employee and lending a helping hand, they treat you as if you are insignificant and a bother.

    Advice to Management

My advice is to upper management. There is a lot of work that needs to be done in mfg. I hear there is just as much up front, but that is not speaking from experience. The few people in charge of shifts in manufacturing really need to reviewed. Watch them closely and you will notice some really bad trends and poor decision making. Remember, worker attitudes and performance are a reflection of management.

I have been working at Dr. Reddy's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They have great pay and benefits as well as regular hours. People are friendly work hard to produce the best product possible.

    Cons

Takes entirely too long to go through the hiring process. It takes an average of 2-3 months from the initial interview to your actual start date. The Shreveport site is behind the times with certain processes and software.

    Advice to Management

Shorten your hiring process! You have been told this for years, and have done very little to fix it! To keep someone in limbo for so long and making them wait 2 weeks in between interviews and tests is ridiculous and unprofessional. Please be more courteous towards potential employees and their time. They have bills to pay and mouths to feed. I shouldn't take 2-3 months to decide if a candidate is right for the position.
