    Great Company, technology challenged

    Sep 20, 2022 - Senior Software Engineer

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Great culture High quality people Established Secure (Owned by NBCU and Comcast)

    Cons

DWA was animation technology power house under Jeffrey Katzenberg, however current leadership wants commodity technology wherever possible; as a result it is shedding technology and technologists wherever it can, and highly mismanaging what technology initiatives remain. Culture from the top is way too accepting of well intentioned 'woke' - but functionally racist and sexist - ideology.
