    Pros

exciting industry, great product portfolio, dedicated and close knit employees in the trenches that deliver results, pay is higher than average.

    Cons

GE integration of Dresser is not going well. GE has world class integrity program, except when comes to dealing with human capital at Dresser.

    Advice to Management

Protect the Dresser reputation and culture by being honest and fair as you deal with the integration. The Dresser brand is valuable because of its culture and people. Your egos are getting in the way of a good integration.

    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO

    Pros

    Pre-GE:
    Non-corporation feel
The cogs moved at a decent pace
    Room for career advancement

    Cons

    Acquired by GE
The cogs became very slow - That is to say, no decisions are made in a reasonable amount of time
    Benefits became worse
    Merit increases were reduced
    Bonuses were reduced
    Vacation was reduced
Hours increased to 60-76 hours / week

    Advice to Management

Remember your employees are humans, not machines.
