    Pros

The projects are fun to work on. They challenge me and grow my expertise. My team members make my job fun. Competitive salary.

    Cons

Very much an old school approach to employee relations. Zero perks. Zero hidden benefits. Very structured and outdated approach to employees.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible with when hours are worked, allow some working from home, and dont have a set lunch time for the entire company.

    Hard to find any positives

    Cons

Lack of training at every level. Better training would relate directly to better output. You mid and lower level management need training in how to manage and how to motivate.

    Advice to Management

Need to evaluate mid and lower level management. Favorites are protected. Stop worrying about revenue. Previous management did not and things went smoother.

    Pros

Lots of exposure to oil and gas field. Can learn a lot about the industry if you apply yourself and use your free time usefully.

    Cons

Internship was not challenging. Mainly given grunt work / data entry jobs. Didn't feel pushed to develop my skills or really use them.

    Advice to Management

Schedule less meetings and let engineers finish their projects on their own. Only get involved if it's truly necessary. Otherwise it can feel like you are meddling in their business.
