I have been working at DriveTime Automotive Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company culture, Dynamic, energetic, positive work environment, open door communication, competitive salary and bonus structure, good benefits, fell like I am part of a work family, after hour activities with co workers

    Cons

Open work environment (no cubicles) can sometime get distracting and hard to focus on work, but I can understand how it allows people to collaborate and get creative which has allowed DriveTime to thrive through technology.

    Advice to Management

    Request employee feedback more frequently.

I worked at DriveTime Automotive Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great coworkers/ fun work environment / cool building / monthly raffles / good benefits / game room / gym /

    Cons

Dealing with the worst customers/ no room to grow/ no raises/ management very disconnected with agents and expects you to lie to customers to bring them in/ calling customers multiply times a day to the point they are wanting to take legal action/ scheduled breaks and will get in trouble if you break anytime other than that/ treats you like a child/ hard to get time off/ promises 65k a year but bonus structure makes it hard to bonus - read the reviews of the company online and really ask yourself if that's who you want to represent

I have been working at DriveTime Automotive Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

DriveTime's culture is something I've never experienced with any other company. It starts with the CEO. He truly has an open door policy, and is overall very approachable. It's a very collaborative work environment. There are many perks to the job!

    Cons

The home office is very nice and open, but can be a bit distracting and hard to concentrate at times because of the open style of seating.

I have been working at DriveTime Automotive Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The culture is unlike anywhere I have ever worked. The company really cares about the success of each employee. Pay is great for the amount of responsibility each person has. The best team work environment of any sales job I've ever I had.

    Cons

Hours can be long. However they are currently working on a solution to the work life balance for the retail side.

    Advice to Management

Becarful about micro managing. The in store management team can sometimes feel like you don't trust them to hit budget.

I worked at DriveTime Automotive Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Cassat ave location provided a great work environment, where I loved coming to work everyday. It was like a family.

    Cons

very long hours, inconsistent schedule, and they do not like to pay what they owe you. I was advised to stay to past the end of the month in order to receive all of my bonuses, however only to find out on my last check I was shorted over $1000. The payroll department has messed up my paycheck several times in the past two years. They make too many promises they do not deliver on and send a lot of mixed messages where no one has the direct answers. Also they a non-rehire able clause even if you leave on good terms.
