    Pros

Encouraging environment, you'll learn a ton, and big ideas are encouraged and fought for.

    Cons

Work life balance isn't always the best but it's getting better. There are a lot of initiatives meant to improve this.

    Pros

Hands down you will be working with our industry’s most talented creatives and strategists. You get to work on great brands. They pay at and often times above market value.

    Cons

The agency is going to through an important transformation and while not everyone will understand what that means, some might feel confused and out of the loop.

    Advice to Management

Keep growing, retaining talent and don’t ever compromise on culture

I have been working at Droga5 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some brilliant people. A good culture as agencies go. A few longstanding/smaller clients who trust the agency and let them do amazing work.

    Cons

Despite a cutting-edge reputation, Droga has a massive number of boring corporate accounts. These accounts are soul crushing to work on, provide no real opportunities for growth or development. You will spend endless hours playing politics with CMO's, tweaking lines, or simply going back and fourth with clients and not making anything at all. Big ideas die fast, and anyone below director level gets no say and is lost in the shuffle.

    Advice to Management

Work with clients who understand the role of creativity in marketing.

I have been working at Droga5 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

access to management and c suite - and they’re super approachable
Awesome creative and strat depts - and production for that matter
Generally good, smart people that just want to do a good job and have a good time, there’s a good vibe all round (as w most offices a few bad eggs, but generally good people)
Good heart - loads of pro bono, better than min leave and maternity leave. Truly feels like they want to do the right thing

    Cons

A little too focused on making the millennials happy - which makes the millennials a bit entitled ie having a games room when there isn’t enough meeting rooms, dinner at 7... loads of parties .. maybe about 3 too many. Not sure if that’s a con?!

    Advice to Management

    👌🏽

I have been working at Droga5 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's a great place to see if you really want to work in advertising. Some of the people are amazing and every so often you get to work on a cool project project. You will have opportunities to walk your work through production no matter what level you are in, and you will learn a lot very quickly.

    Cons

Most of the ACD/CDs don't know how to be leaders. A lot of expectations that should not fall on you probably will, and when s#|% hits the fan, be ready to take the fall because the higher-ups won't. Droga5 is becoming just like every other run-of-the-mill ad agency that produces one, maybe two great pieces a year and the rest of the stuff is mediocre at best.

    Advice to Management

Purge, and start from the top.
