    Pros

Good company to work for. Great benefits, plenty of overtime. If you like doing a dirty job and staying active, this is a good place

    Cons

A lot of the lower level management seems to think they know a lot more than they actually do

    Advice to Management

Upper level management needs to look into their supervisors more and keep them in line. Seems like the wort hourly workers are the ones getting promoted to salary/management

    Pros

Great company, great management. Great incentives and benefits. Drummond is currently making the current staff live in fear of layoffs. Otherwise a great company.

    Cons

Uncertainty of the future due to coal market. Need to diversify is paramount. Changing to more of a gas company is important for a sustainable future.

    Advice to Management

Push to diversify assets to prepare for future.

    Pros

Overall a good company to work for, caring and understanding bosses. Flexible Work Schedule.

    Cons

Due to Coal Prices Projects are on hold, and CAPEX is non existent and so necessary and needed equipment upgrades are put off until they fail.

    Pros

Overall Drummond Co. treats their employees fairly. There is no complaints about the Co. itself.
They try to keep their employees especially their salaried. The pay is adequate and fair.

    Cons

The upper management at the mine itself tries to micro manage every aspect of the jobs. Especially the mine manager who has not worked underground and tries to run other departments that he is not directly over.

    Advice to Management

Be more people oriented and stop treating people as though you are superior to them. Allow people the oportunity to prove their worth to the company.
