Registered Nurse

So, I started watching “Limitless” with Chris Hemsworth. Apparently, he found out he carries both genes for dementia which puts him at a higher risk. So the series is about him changing things in his life for longevity. The third episode is about fasting and he fasts for 4 days until the day he has to hunt for his food. Does anyone in healthcare have thoughts on this type of fasting? I know it is done in some cultures and religions, but to what extent?

Careers
At Duke Health, the culture of innovation and improvement focuses on advancing career growth as well. While Duke’s Nursing Clinical Ladder was one of the earliest career progression systems in the U.S., we have recently reimagined it into a point-based system with input from Duke Health nurses. This new and improved program – now called the Nursing Career Ladder – takes into account skills and activities across four categories of enrichment to highlight nurses’ individual skills and personalize a path forward based on their unique goals and aspirations. It’s a program designed by nurses for nurses. Join an organization that nurtures your nursing career, your way.
