I am looking into doing the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Cert. Tell me if it’s worth it please! I don’t have my BS yet and I’m hoping it will help me progress. I’ve seen some pricey training programs and can anyone recommend a good program, preferably online.

    Pros

The people are wonderful, its a very diverse environment with people from all walks of life and a lot of opportunity to interact with people outside of your work area Duke has a lot of programs to help its employees live healthier, and a lot of employee benefits

    Cons

It being a hospital, the people who work here are generally stressed out often - it can be easy to get worn down (but the people who are very positive and easy to get along with you identify quickly and stick with - they're gems!) A lot of rules and policies that get changed often and with little warning or explanation

Culture
Maria honors National Hispanic Heritage Month through community celebrations and, of course, food. She makes an effort to cook the traditional meals of her country so that her children know the complex flavors and textures that she grew up on. She’s felt encouraged to bring her rich culture into Duke Health, sharing her heritage through her cuisine. Join an organization that celebrates who you are and encourages you to be your authentic self.
