I have been working at Dun & Bradstreet full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People, culture, flexibility. I love working at D&B. The transformation since Bob Carrigan joined has been steady and positive. There leadership team is inspiring. There is a great focus on people.

    Cons

Not a ton of budgetary flexibility. Things are tight and there is not a lot of fluff...for most. It is not so bad that the necessities aren't maintained, but there are times when choices need to be made.

    Advice to Management

Weed out the few who aren't additive and bring in more fresh ideas. Sales needs to be hungrier.

I have been working at Dun & Bradstreet full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Over the years, I've had incompetent managers, but since Bob Carrigan joined D&B, the leadership has been much improved. Have no doubt, the expectations are high, but they're reasonable.

    Cons

Pay is based largely on title, and not on experience or the value you bring to the organization, production output or efforts to improve the business.

    Advice to Management

Please don't assume that each person with the same title contributes the same. Experience has a value and should be compensated accordingly. Don't try to be neutural on everything.

    Pros

Work-life balance, salary and commissions. Great associates and opportunity to advance is there is you want it.

    Cons

Embracing technology in a faster pace now more than ever, some processes could be smoother but overall it's a great company to be at if you are a hard worker and can manage multiple projects/accounts in a fast paced environment.
