I have been working at Dune London part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The salary is pretty good for a retail position. People are generally friendly and try to recognize good work with incentives and rewards.

    Cons

Management can be unorganized and hypocritical. Many of the shoe styles are not very fashionable for a New York market.

    Advice to Management

There should be more normality in the schedules. It can be hard to plan around this job, not because you have too many hours but because you aren't sure when they'll be and get very little heads up.

    Pros

If you are Intern or a graduate Dune will give you what you need.

    Cons

No progression what so ever. You'll have to wait for someone to either leave the company no die
Most departments are flawed so stay minimum a year tops.

    Advice to Management

The ideas that you want to implement will never happen

    Pros

Opportunities for promotion if you want a retail career

    Cons

High pressure on targets, Long Hours, short staffing, and low pay for high expectations

    Advice to Management

Ensure managers have a reasonable workload- 60hrs per week should be unacceptable

I worked at Dune London part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good experience provided within the job. Mostly kind people to work with

    Cons

Minimum wage pay was shocking, especially as I was told it was higher at the interview. 4 hour contract but put on 16 hours a week. No sense of management in the company

I worked at Dune London part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you are interested in fashion and shoes, it's great because you work with like-minded people and can give advice on what you love.

    Cons

Sometimes it can be quite quiet, especially as the prices are quite high and the shop is small so it was often over-staffed.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest less staff during the week but more at the weekend, because sometimes we were overstaffed in the week but short-staffed at the weekend.
