Good company with excellent work/life balance.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Make it easier to cross train, move between departments, advance.

I have been working at Dunkin' Brands full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great corporate office space; early release Friday's; company leaders actually believe in themselves and their management style

    Cons

The reality is that company leaders cannot be trusted for even a day. They are masters of deception -- some more than others. They throw employees "under the bus" left and right to make it look like they know how to fix all the issues the company faces. They will retire soon and get out with millions...and a legacy of managing by intimidation and of being the biggest phonies this side of the Atlantic.

    Advice to Management

Leadership, would you rather retire with millions or with respect....apparently millions! No advice to management.....just waiting for the next era of leadership. Is it too much to hope that Arty T from Market Basket will replace the current leadership when they retire into the sunset? BTW, many of your VPs are there only because they have golden handcuffs...not because they believe in your management style.

I worked at Dunkin' Brands as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Saw the ins and outs of a large, successful, corporation.
Everyone was so friendly and easy to work with.
Endless (free) coffee, donuts, bagels and baskin robbins ice cream!

    Cons

    Internship got monotonous and boring.
Hard to get a job offer afterwards.

I worked at Dunkin' Brands (More than a year)

    Pros

The best part of this job is the interaction with the regulars. You get to know them and their lives, and it is a blast.

    Cons

The hard part of this job can be the fast pace part of it. If you can't be fast, you can't do this job.

I worked at Dunkin' Brands as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

I interned with Dunkin' Brands for over a year and loved every minute of it. It was a great learning experience for me and my bosses and coworkers were all awesome. By the end of the internship, I was treated as if I was a full time regular employee and my opinion in meetings actually mattered. This is not something you see very often with internships. It was also a paid internship which was also hard to find.

    Cons

My only con was once I graduated, there was no opportunity for employment within the company. The only department that I saw hire interns was customer service. There was always talk of needing more millennials in the company, but I never saw a department act on hiring one. There were always really good interns that would make great employees, but they were never considered for full time employment.

    Advice to Management

Hire more college graduates in other departments aside from customer service. If you want more young people in your company, then hire some!
