I worked at Dunkin' Brands part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I got this job when I was 16 and stayed with it until I went to college last year. It was great in that during breaks I was able to come back and work for them. Also an awesome perk was the Free food and drinks. I would say for a first job it really is a good job when I compared them to my 2nd and 3rd job at Dominoes and Red Robbin.

    Cons

The worst things about the job are the costumers and the hours sometimes. When you work in a busy place like Dunkin' Donuts there are people are constantly complaining about silly things. If you can put on a smile and just say I will fix that you will generally do well. Also the morning shift can sometimes be hard to wake up when opening the store at 4:30 in the morning.

    Advice to Management

Allow employees to make tips, it really helped towards my college fund!

I have been working at Dunkin' Brands full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-CEO voicemail every single week giving business updates
-Always something going on - some fun event to take part in
-Open door policy, I never feel like I can't speak my mind
-Unlimited coffee, tea, donuts, munchkins, bagels and ice cream
-Office closes at 1:30 PM every single Friday

    Cons

-Not enough communication between cross-functional departments, often leading to missed steps and inadequate resources
    -Salaries are below average

    Advice to Management

Align departments better so that there is more cross-functional relationships going on. Different departments start projects and have ideas but don't get the right people involved until it is too late. Too many chiefs and not enough indians.

I have been working at Dunkin' Brands part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most people I work with are very pleasent, there are some ups and downs, such as busy holidays, but good and bad things come with any job. The people I meet that come in regurarly are pleasent, and make working very fun. The manager is easy going and nice to talk to, My assistant manager and shift leader also make working very clear on what we need to do.

    Cons

When you are tired it is not fun.

I worked at Dunkin' Brands full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

First and foremost, the people I worked with were great. It was a real team environment and I always felt like we accomplished a great deal. The location in Canton was very convenient and had free parking. Onsite cafeteria, fitness center, and of course the free ice cream, coffee and other Dunkin' products were a nice thing to have! I enjoyed working there!

    Cons

In my particular position, there was no career progression. However, in other areas there were many opportunities for people to move around and grow with the company.

    Pros

work with great people, easy job, and good, friendly environment.

    Cons

working in the early morning is really crazy and it's extremely hard to get promoted or get a raise.

    Advice to Management

Management in the Spring Hill, TN store absolutely sucks. The reason I quit this job was because of poor management.
